Macro MUST HAVE

"I love how easy it is to just pick up and shoot with this lens. Clarity and closeness of the footage I capture with it as always top tier. I have this and the 10x Macro and the advantage of this lens is the distance at which you can shoot at with natural lighting. GET IT!"

A good complement to the 10x macro lens

"At first, I struggled to see the difference compared to the 10x lens, but in practice, it allows for greater flexibility in macro photography. The two complement each other. Good optical quality, with a depth of field that really highlights the subject."

Capturing Coastal Details With the Moment 75mm Macro Lens

"I recently paired the Moment 75mm Macro (T-Series) with my iPhone 17 Pro Max for a trip to the coast, and it has completely changed how I approach mobile photography. While I’ve always enjoyed the convenience of my iPhone’s camera, this lens adds a level of optical character and intentionality that software simply can't replicate. The standout feature of the 75mm focal length is the "long-range" macro capability. Unlike traditional macro lenses that require you to be an inch away from your subject, this lens allows for a comfortable working distance of about four to six inches. This was a game-changer while shooting sea life in tide pools. I was able to capture the intricate, microscopic details of barnacles and small crustaceans without casting a shadow over them or disturbing the more skittish creatures. The image quality is stunning. The bokeh is soft and natural, providing a cinematic depth of field that makes subjects pop against a beautifully blurred background. There is a "layered" look to the photos that feels more like a professional mirrorless setup than a smartphone. The build quality is exactly what you expect from Moment. The aerospace-grade metal feels substantial and premium, and the T-Series interface is a significant upgrade—the twist-and-secure mount feels incredibly stable on the iPhone 17 Pro Max case. It survived a week of sand and sea spray without any issues, proving it's as durable as it is sharp. If you are looking to move beyond the clinical, "computed" look of standard phone photos and want to find the hidden stories in the details around you, this lens is an essential addition to your kit. It has easily become my favorite piece of gear for outdoor adventures."

Capturing Details

"I am experimenting with the 75mm lens, and I am loving it! One of the biggest advantages is that I don’t have to get as close to my subject, which makes capturing flowers and other delicate details much easier. The lens produces beautiful background blur while keeping the focal point sharp and crisp. In this photo, the vibrant colors, fine details of the stamens, and soft bokeh really stand out. The 75mm lens allows me to isolate the subject and create a more artistic image without disturbing what I’m photographing. I’m excited to continue learning and exploring what this lens can do!"

Q&A

I have a Moment Tele 58 mm, if I get somewhat close, would it work similar to the 75 mm macro?
No it wouldn't, these are completely different lenses. The 75mm macro is a macro lens. The 58mm tele is a portrait lens.
I have the original 75mm macro and would love to know what’s new about the updated version. I can’t seem to tell a difference with the specs.
Hey Eddie! There’s a slight improvement in overall sharpness and clarity on newer devices with the updated version. The difference isn’t dramatic, but images do appear a bit crisper.
I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I want to do some close up product photography with it. It has a lens protector cover installed and enclosed in a Spigen case. Can I use this Macro lens without removing the lens protector? I can take off the Spigen case, but removing th lens protector is a pain, not to mention to put it back on.
No you cannot use our lenses with a lens protector. The protector will change the distance between the camera and the lens and it will not be in focus.
I have purchase the Macro 75mm lens and the case for my Pixel 9 Pro XL, but I can't find the app for Android. What app do recommend to take most advantage of the lens and which camera (wide, ultrawide, tele) should I put it on ?
Hey Rene! We recommend mounting the Macro lens on the wide camera of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Please note that the Moment app is only available on iOS, as the Android version was discontinued some time ago. We'd recommend using the Blackmagic Camera app. Szabi - Gear Guide
Can the 75mm macro be used for portraits? I was just wondering if it had that versatility.
The 75mm macro lens is designed for very close macro shots. The focal distance is about 75mm. The tele 58mm lens is our portrait lens.
