"Motivates me to go out more and revisit locations and discover compositions, that I wouldn't have before."
"Purchased in 2020 and revisited the lesson now (2022). I think it's safe to say that Kearns' style does what he hopes: not gimmicky, looks good years later, and captures the mood of the moment. Appreciated the posing and Lightroom tips, especially for panoramas."
"Great course to add to your education arsenal! Very punctual advices and clearly explained"
"Would have liked a bit more of model interaction and working through poses"
"Awesome course. I would consider myself a beginner, and this course was absurdly helpful with understanding how to set up for a shoot beforehand. Loved seeing the photos he was taking and the adjustment he made onsite to get the exact photo he was looking for. And the modeling segment was so helpful!!!!"
"First and foremost, Andrew Kearns is by far one of my favorite photographers and I love everything about that man <3 . Anyways, back to the lesson, this lesson was inspiring and beyond helpful for a beginning photographer. Everything about this lesson was helpful and a great teaching moment and I loved how Andrew and Sonora went into depth on both ends of the spectrum from the photographer to the model and they both help immensely. I love how Andrew goes into depth on how to direct and show the model (Sonora) what he wants without seeming demanding. I also really enjoyed the tips on how he allowed Sonora to do her own thing and still being able to get that money shot and showing her the pictures afterwards to show the model whats working and what isnt working. Overall, this lesson was wonderful and I honestly feel like my photography IQ was boosted to an immaculate level by the high almighty deity Andrew Kearns himself. Beautiful lesson and I would recommend this for the beginners even all the way up to the veteran photographers because Andrew Kearns and Sonora Mindwerl have outdone themselves <3 !"
"Honestly i had so much fun watching this workshop. It is amazing thing to know have this knowledge and use it,Honestly if you are shooting people and you want to get better, and you are not to sure how, but this workshop there is way more value then what you pay. and it will make you a better photographer and even betterhuman."
"Candid shots are hard to capture in general (at least for me), but creating candid shots is even harder. Andrew did a great job explaining his process and not just tell us how to do it but show us how to do it. I love that we also got Sonora's perspective of what a model expects from the photographer."
"I would consider Andrew one of the best storytellers that focuses his photos based on authenticity and nostalgia. In this workshop, he explains his process with great detail and a deep understanding of how to create this feeling. Andrew and Sonora are very refreshing to watch and learn from when it comes to creating this type of storytelling."
"Really enjoyed this course for many reasons. First off, Kearns is one of those photographers from the social media era who has built a successful career from a scratch. Have always loved his natural portrait work and been curious about how he creates the great results consistently. This workshop answers to that plus provides a ton more value and perspective to take away. Highly useful, entertaining and easy to watch workshop. Strongly recommend!"
