"Pretty funny/witty with some good information but it really wasn’t what I expected and definitely not in depth. There are YouTube videos with more information on Fuji cameras and setup. This course was more of a “this is how I setup my camera” tutorial. Which is fine, if you want to emulate a specific creators workflow or method. I’d suggest YouTube videos instead. But you may be able to get some good info out of it."
"is it beneficial , yes , but it seem to skate over a lot of the functions of the camera in favor of the authors personal preferences .Not worth the 100 dollars and not worth the 75 i paid on sale for it .You can get numerous guides and help online at Youtube . Did i learn anything, Yes ."
"This is a weird review cuz ShopMoment hadn't yet delivered the photocamera yet. So you may disregard. Still I've walked thru the lessons 3 times and had to watch multiple youtube explanations on f/stops, aperture, shutter speed and iso to understand what's going on. Andrew goes thru settings pretty fast, I know he shouldn't cover the basics of photography. but it would be nice to elaborate on advantages and peculiarities of Fuji. Also I couldn't find the part on how to better transfer footage to macbook: SD or app or wire or WI-FI? Guess will have to investigate on my own."
"I found the lesson to cover all of the basics needed to get me up and running with this camera. Andrew was fun, knowledgeable, and gave great examples so I could see the camera in action. As a professional sports photographer using Sony cameras, I feel very comfortable running my kit in full manual mode, so I was glad to be able to get up to speed with Andrew in order to use the X100V in a similar way. Excited to get out there and shoot!"

"Having watched a number of far more helpful and authoritative videos on YouTube, I was disappointed by the (one) hour of content. The author seems willfully unaware of a great many of this camera’s features, and glossed over anything they don’t personally understand, which is a lot. Honestly, the whole thing felt sloppy and rushed, was filled with pointless joking, and has been poorly edited. I really wouldn’t recommend this for anyone."
"I'm a little disappointed with this course. On the plus side, the instructor knows his stuff. When he makes a film analogy or dives into a specific topic for a few minutes, his enthusiasm shines. But most of the course is unfortunately very superficial. The instructor glosses over a lot of the menu options, even cracking jokes at menu options that he thinks aren't useful. That's great, but... can you tell us why? Can you tell us what these options do? For all of the options we have on this camera, there's a surprising amount of hand-wavy "yeah, I don't know, I don't use this feature, let's move to the next thing" stuff going on. I got the impression that the instructor isn't used to teaching courses like this, and there was a level of jokey stage fright kind of embarrassment here that I felt held him back from actually going in depth here. It feels rushed.TLDR: I didn't get an "in depth" setup at all here, more of a crash course in what this one person thinks is relevant. There was some useful knowledge to be gained, but I have more questions about the stuff he thought wasn't relevant than anything else. This course only teaches me how to use this camera the way he uses it, but nothing else, and no explanation why."
