"Amazing course. Yes I agree with the other reviews that it is less about the technical side of photography. But I believe in this course you get a greater understanding of how a photographers mind works, and how to train you own mind to creat images of your own."

"I like Joe's pictures and had followed him for quite a bit. I was looking forward to learning his methods like metering, framing, developing, scanning, etc. but this just felt like a 3 hour VLOG. There was VERY little technical talk and he didn't really take the time to walk us through his process. I've learned more from a free B&H live stream event with a guy standing behind a podium. Really hope Moment shifts their emphasis and focuses on substance instead of just following around popular YouTube stars with an established fan base that they know will pony up $$"
"Let's start off with acknowledging that Joe is a great landscape photographer. Now as far as storytelling goes he should look up the definition of the word.To compare this course is like going to a cooking class and the teacher just talks about the amazing food they make without giving your any insight.If your a fan of his and do landscape photography, this is the course for you. If you are looking for a way to elevate your photography, beware.FYI all creative courses are 100% no money back. No exceptions."
"I've been following Joe for a very long time. I enjoyed his youtube channel when it started and felt his photos were probably deserving when he was on a Leica ad. He makes the most basic everyday things look interesting under light. Joe also comes off as a very nice and sweet person which pains me to leave this review. The video is just as every comment described. You do get a little more of him talking than what he did on youtube but not by much. I figure thats why he removed most of his content on youtube. It's basically just a lot of "oh yeah" and "wows" heh. I do get joy of watching Joe shoot but I think it was better suited for Youtube in short clips rather than hours of hearing the same thing over. I hardly felt this was a lesson but more like watching a street photographer work a single area. In sum, thats basically what this is. It's definitely not a lesson level 2. Maybe not even a level 1. Possibly just an intro or entertainment video. I paid the steep full price for the video. I think its well worth it at maybe half the price or less. I only made it to the 9th lesson and have already checked out a few times. I probably would've given this 1 star if I wasn't already a Joe fan."

"This Lesson was truly great and worth every minute. Watching Joe's process for how he composes his shots and even the small technical side of how he uses his camera was great. I enjoyed that it wasn't too heavy on the technical side and we got to see Joe in his environment and work flow (if you'd call it work because it looks so fun).Watching the 'Documenting the Life on the Ranch' towards the end left me with a huge smile on my face, it reminds you why photography is such an amazing medium and how such simple things can be documented with such beautiful technique and passion.I learned so much in watching this lesson and I haven't even finished yet! Joe Greer is truly one of todays most inspiring and great photographers, everyone should watch this lesson, if not for the lesson itself then for the amazing scenery and images in it.Thank you Moment for creating this along with Joe.Bailey"
