Good LUT

"Looks great, easy to install."

Andrew C. (5/5)

Nice, but needs work.

"After applying the LUT directly to a correctly exposed and white balanced image, the result is a noticeable shift towards magenta in the skin tones, as well as being more saturated than needed. This can be fixed in resolve. When using the LUT with a CST the image is very dark, and also needs to be corrected to get a good starting point. The LUT has a nice starting point once tye tint and brightness have been addressed."

Gavin M. (3/5)

Nice job

"Look nice but I have only the 14 pro model and im using Pearla app log profile. So it probably doesn t work perfectly but still looks really nice. I hope it will work with the 17 pro models 🤔"

Lauri R. (4/5)

Easy

"Easy apply to black magic app"

John B. (5/5)

The colors are very intense

"Great LUT, worth the investment. Personally I use it with Moment App adjusting the intensity of LUT at 55%."

Ishtvan K. (5/5)

Q&A

Does this work for Apple Log 2?
Hey Mari! No the AppleLog to Arri Alexa Conversion does not have AppleLog2 LUTs. It only has LUTs for the standard AppleLog. The easy workaround if you have DaVinci Resolve is by using CST. Input Colorspace: Apple Log 2, Input Gamma: Apple Log. The output color space is Arri Wide Gamut 3 and Output Gamma is ArriLogC3. Rahul - Gear Guide
What percentage should I set the zebras at in the Blackmagic app if monitoring with the lut? I also have the Sony version of the lut, will the same setting apply?
Hey Will! A good starting point is around 95% for highlights, but if you want extra protection, 90% can be safer. Same should apply for the Sony version of the LUT. Szabi - Gear Guide
would this work the blackmagic camera app on the iphone, or the kino app?
Hey PeterM! They work with the Blackmagic camera app on the iPhone, but I'm not sure about the Kino app. Szabi - Gear Guide
Are these LUTs compatible with an iPhone 13 Pro Max?
Hey Michael! The iPhone 13 Pro Max does not shoot in log. Szabi - Gear Guide
How does this LUT compare to The One LUT for Apple Log? Is it worth buying this pack if I already own the One LUT for the iPhone 15/16?
Hey Arthur! These LUTs transform your iPhone footage to achieve the signature look of the Arri Alexa. We have samples and before and after examples available on the product page, so you can see the difference for yourself! Szabi - Gear Guide
