As good as it looks

"I like the design with detailed and practical features. So far it looks well manufactured. Maybe I mislead myself but “4L” in the name suggests 4 liters… Which is clearly short of, barely 1L. Name is misleading the metric clients. Anyway I can carry a Fuji x-t5 + 16-55mm but it needs to force a bit on the zipper. . Inside padding is good on the body side but could be a little stiffer on the upper and external side. I ve got another sling camera bag from moment for years and it ages well despite sustained use."

Great sling

"I purchased the Slate 4L. Bag was shipped and received quickly. Bag is built well, nice quality fit and finish. This is just a personal preference thing but the interior salmon color was a bit brighter than i though in person, but not an issue."

Darren N. (5/5)

Coolest sling !

"The sling is very well made and very breathable for when you’re hiking and the 3 point strap is perfect for when you’re moving around a lot."

Rene S. (5/5)

Perfect for light travel

"Fits great as shoulder bag or fanny pack. Enough room to store basic gear - lenses, filters, cage, and various attachments for an day of shooting pictures. Excellent internal organization, dedicated pouches, and the color makes it easy to find accessories. I keep mine mostly loaded for a quick grab-and-go, which has me out taking pictures more often."

Stuart H. (5/5)

Great bag

"Bought for my son. He likes the compartments to put his camera gear in."

Kathleen G. (5/5)

The perfect sling for mobile creators

"I love how compact this bag is while being able to pack so much gear! I can pack all of my mobile gear such as my Moment lenses, filters, and even a tripod!"

Timothy T. (5/5)

Great and compacted bag!

"I was surprised at how much I was able to fit in there. Great, compact and comfortable to wear."

Justin Q. (5/5)

such a great refresh to the sling

"super light! love the mesh panel at the back to keep things cool. The addition of the mesh compartment underneath for a water bottle / tripod is clutch."

Q&A

Do you have a video or article that compares the Fast and Light Slate 4L with the Everyday Carry 4L? I am having trouble figuring out which would be the better fit for me. My initial take reading about each is that the Slate has more organizing potential, but I would love to see a side-by-side review from one of your experts.
Hey Nicole! We don’t currently have a side by side video or article comparing the Fast and Light Slate 4L and the Everything Sling 4L. If you reach out to us via email, our Gear Guides team would be more than happy to walk you through the differences! Szabi - Gear Guide
Will this fit a steam deck?
Hey F! We haven’t tested it ourselves, but based on the dimensions it doesn’t really seem like it would fit the Steam Deck! Szabi - Gear Guide
Will this bag fit a Fujifilm XT30-III and spare lenses? Is it padded like the Moment 4L? Or will I be better off getting the Moment 4L if I'm looking to use this like a camera bag?
Hey Sarah! The camera with a lens attached will fit inside. A very small pancake or compact prime might fit, but larger lenses will likely make it too tight to carry comfortably. The bottom isn’t padded on either of the bags.
Is the capacity similar to the Moment Everything 4L sling? I like the extra features of this bag compared to the Moment Everything 4L, but I'm looking for a camera sling and I'm not sure if the padding for this bag would be similar to the Everything.
Hey Aubrey! The capacity is pretty similar overall. The Slate is a bit more spacious and slightly sturdier in construction and padding!
