"Easy to follow and very helpful tips"
"The king discipline in moviemaking gets a nice introduction from a knowledgable teacher."
"The lecturer clearly knows his stuff, and this course gives a good overview on editing, but it could have gone deeper."
"I found the quick and dirty principles of film editing interesting and necessary in terms of thinking about the ingredients of editing. 2 useful case studies of Casey Neistat and Dobrik's editing style (boy the latter did not really age well). I was completely lost on what Jack was trying to show me on Pemier Pro. I do not see how this course makes my film-editing more efficient ( I think the QnA with Colin and Samir was supposed to answer that but it did not at all) but it does help my editing become a better editor"
"I KNOW THAT GEAR DONT MAKE EDITING BUT THIS WAS SHORT LESSON AND NOT IN DETAIL."
"This course is amazing for beginners and covers the basics of editing and the meaning behind what you're doing in a perfectly balanced way."
"Watch this first! This is a great course for a person just starting out as a filmmaker or those who have dabbled in the process but haven't really defined their style. The course is nicely structured to give one the background and basic building blocks that you will need to learn as you grow in your craft. It's not too long or technical but plenty of information and references throughout the course."
"Editing definitely hasnt been one of my favorite parts of making videos, but this does help me to see its importance in a new light, thank you for simplifying it."
"This was very well put together, Jack does a great job of keeping your attention while also implementing the video editing styles that have made his videos and Casey Neistat's video so great. Worth a watch!"
"That was good! I'm new at this and wanted to start with the fundamentals and this course did just that. Thank you!"
